What causes cells to degenerate and the body to break down?

Stress seeps in through everything in our everyday life, work, family, love or economy and we can feel the stress through the things we have to deal with.

But there is one particular type of stress we face unknowingly, cellular stress. It does not come in the form we recognize but in the diet, way of life, exercise, sickness or even sleep. These causes inflammations. Inflammations are invisible and unnoticeable but tend to continue for a long period resulting in degeneration of cells or vital organs. Wrinkles and degenerative signs start to appear without us knowing they are actually degenerations of the body. We simply call this stage ‘aging’.

Aging is getting wrinkled and less attractive which is frustrating enough but internal degeneration is even more frustrating for it means our every ability has dropped. And here are the examples:
- feeling difficult to fall asleep or stay asleep
- feeling difficult to get up or feeling the need for more sleep but get up to work feeling irritated for not getting enough sleep
- feeling foggy headed and being unable to focus or concentrate. This is annoying!
- having shoulder and back pain as if someone is sitting on it
- being irresponsive to stimulants and not feeling enthusiastic enough to do anything
- feeling depressed and low in libido
- experiencing change in the bogy figure and gaining cellulite - wrinkled and baggy skin
- likely to develop angiostenosis or diabetes

• Let’s get rid of these cellular stress!
Now that we know, we must diminish cellular stress by dealing with the cause, the free radicals. We reduce these free-radicals by adapting our behaviors in the following way:
1. Try to be less stressed out (gradually by paying attention to your state of mind. You can do it!)
2. Take enough rest and exercise at least 3 days a week
3. Eat balanced diet. Avoid carbohydrate, sugar, fat, deep fried food, soda, caffeine, alcohol and smoking.
For working adults or for those with stressful jobs, attention should be paid to vitamin B rich food that will assist in the nervous function such as brown rice, half-polished rice, grains, eggs, green vegetables and nuts.

• Help for the stressed out brain
- Vitamin B complex namely, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, and B12 together helps the brain function and normalizes the nervous and muscular functions including reliving migraine. A study conducted by health institute of Maryland University indicated that vitamin B complex converts carbohydrate to ready to use sugar which is the energy tank for the body. This is strikingly important especially when under stress, the body will need more sugar. Vitamin B is thus sometimes regarded as anti-stress vitamin.
- Biotin and folic acid help the normal function of the nervous system and control muscle contraction which is a problem common to the neck and shoulder when stress hits us. These 2 substances thus help with stress.
- Magnesium helps in brain function, repairs and stabilizes the cells and reduces stress.
- Zinc is essential to the brain and nervous system and is also an antioxidant.

It is undeniably true that success derives from working hard and the road to success bears as much struggling as stress. If we do not take good care of our health and allow stress to harm us, we may not accomplish what we set out for. Therefore, pay attention to your health, take enough rest and eat healthy and beneficial food and vitamins so as to fuel yourself to carry on your good work.

If you want to feel fresh and help the body deal with stress better, vitamin B and exercise will be exactly what you need.
